I create functional and decorative wheel thrown and hand built pottery using stoneware clay. The pottery is hand carved with patterns inspired by nature and fired in a soda kiln.

I'm asking for support for loss of income from canceled pottery sales and workshop events that were scheduled. In addition, tourism for the arts was severely impacted in the WNC area and will affect my pottery sales for a long time. I need to recover damage done in my studio where I lost some materials due to the flooding, and there was damage to the culvert driveway over the creek that was damaged due to the flooding.

I have a GoFundMe site, and I also sell my pottery online in my Etsy shop. The GoFundMe fundraiser is to support myself and my husband, who is also a potter impacted by the storm. We will donate 30% of our GoFundMe proceeds to another ceramic artist impacted by the hurricane who lost their studio and kiln access. We hope to also share our resources by allowing them to work in our studio space and fire in our kilns for a few months if they have lost access to their own in the storm.
