Like many who were not impacted by Helene, I watched in horror as the aftermath unfolded before us. Entire communities flattened and/or washed away. I immediately knew that I wanted to do something, or multiple somethings to help.

I am coordinating donations of tools from my local community studio and will be sending those to a fellow potter who has agreed to collect and distribute. I am also donating 20% of all of my sales between October 1 and December 31, 2024. That includes sales made on Etsy, through FB, via our local markets and our community studio holiday sale.

If someone purchases something from me and makes note that it is because of this site, I will increase the % of that sale to 25%.

Even though we are 2500+ miles away from our potter friends in NC, the pottery community across our country is strong and we will continue to help those who need it, because we need all of them back up and running!
