The mom and pop glass shop!

Crucible Glassworks has been providing hot glass at cool prices to the Asheville area since 1998. Featuring the work of Michael Hatch, Crucible Glassworks was the first public access glass studio to provide demonstrations, workshops, and studio rental to the Asheville community. They opened their location in Weaverville nearly 10 years ago to provide these same services in a serene environment just minutes away from their original downtown location.

Crucible Glassworks was thankfully spared from major destruction caused by Hurricane Helene, but have suffered a loss of business. They've been working hard to assist members of the arts community, helping clean up debris, hosting raffles and donating to local relief organizations.
