My work is shown in solo and group exhibitions across the country and written about in publications including New American Paintings. My series, Private Domain, has traveled during the past 5 years to venues in NV, NC, SC, AL, IL, PA, VA, FL and GA. Since 2020, three of these solo exhibitions have been held in museums: the Jacksonville Museum of Contemporary Art, the Piedmont Museum, in Martinsville, VA and the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art in Atlanta. In terms of curated group exhibitions, my hybrid painting constructions will be included in Collective Concerns which focuses on the use of collage and remnants. Beginning in late 2024 at the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Georgia it will travel to six additional venues over the next two years. My mixed media work was also included in FABRICation, shown in museums and galleries across the U.S. from 2014-2018. During the past 10 years, I have received a North Carolina Artist Support Grant, the Outstanding Artistic Achievement Award from the Southeastern College Art Association and chosen as a Visiting Artist at the American Academy in Rome. My drawings and paintings are in numerous private and public collections, including the Carnegie Museum, the Asheville Art Museum, the Tennessee State Museum, the Morris Museum and others. Two public art installations include 16 paintings at the Hartsfield-Atlanta Airport and a large, multi-panel painting at the Knoxville Convention Center.
