I am an encaustic artist with a focus on monotype printmaking. The technique involves printing with melted beeswax from a hot pallet onto various types of paper. I am intrigued by the mountain landscapes that keep us all grounded, invite us to explore, or inspire us to imagine. My work involves both intention and chance as each unique print evolves into its final form. Prior to the storm my work was exhibited at Asheville Print Studio in the RAD, in group shows with Asheville Printmakers, and as part of the Beaverdam Studio Tour. I’m very happy for this opportunity to welcome you to my working studio in the beautiful Beaverdam Valley in North Asheville. A portion of all proceeds will go towards hurricane relief.
