I am a spinner, weaver, and dyer primarily of cotton, but I also dye and marble silk. After learning to make marbling paint from earth pigments, I developed my own natural dye-based marbling inks before anyone told me it couldn't be done. I have also explored the range of colors that can be coaxed from Japanese indigo leaves and incorporate these and other dyes into my marbling work.
