Pam Granger Gale is a National Board Certified Elementary art teacher, a profession she has loved for thirty one years. After retiring in 2016, Pam continued teaching and sharing her knowledge of marbling, an ancient method of creating useful items. Marbling came into her life in 1988 at a short one time workshop. She taught marbling classes on Hilton Head Island to many tourists and built a loyal following with many returning year after year. In Asheville, she has perfected her technique by attending many classes. She opened Majik Studios with a cadre of professional teachers in the South Slope in 2018. Relocated in 2022, Majik Studios 207 is the production, gallery, and teaching space for Pam’s marbling. Pam collaborated with Marcia Mills of MGMills Studio to create a marbled vest, bow tie, and pocket square which was selected for exhibition in 2019 in the national fiber show named “A Stitch to Wear”. Pam Granger Gale is a lifelong creative and teacher of all media. She is involved locally as an active juried member in the prestigious Southern Highland Craft Guild. She loves demonstrating the spontaneous process of floating paint on locations like the Craft Fair, July 2022, Folk Art Center, and at the National Watermelon Convention at the Grove Park Inn in February, 2023. She is represented by the Southern Highland Craft Guild Galleries in Asheville and Blowing Rock. Majik Studios is located at 348 Depot Street, River Arts District, Asheville.
